I am an accomplished professional makeup artist with 20 years of experience working in all areas of the industry – including film, TV, stage and character through to fashion, photography and bridal work.

I was taught by one of the UK’s top professionals in the business, Linda Wilson, who is makeup artist to the likes of Channel 4’s Ugly Betty star Ashley Jenkins and pop diva Natalie Imbruglia.

I specialise in fashion and photographic makeup. My creativity and experience in this field enable me to create any look for any occasion. I have developed a good eye for what looks good in front of the camera and I always keep up to date with current looks and trends from the catwalk. In 2008, I was the makeup artist for Keith Kane who won first place for Northern Ireland in the International Hairdresser of the Year Awards.

In addition to working as a makeup artist, I have also lectured on the subject widely throughout the UK. I also offer a unique and highly successful programme of training courses covering all aspects of makeup. These courses have been developed over the past 10 years and I find this area of my work most rewarding. It is very fulfilling to see the new levels of confidence and competence achieved by my students. Courses are tailored to suit you or your college’s requirements. Courses run from 1 day upwards and can be fashioned to suit students in their first year of makeup all the way through to lecturers wishing to update their existing skills. The training is of the highest standard and feedback received is extremely positive. Students receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.

Private makeup lessons can also be arranged for individual customers, party nights and fundraising events.

I am confident and professional in my work whether that’s working independently or as part of a team. I am as passionate about my work today as I was when I first started in the business and that passion only grows with every assignment I take on.
